Resource Tracking and Requests

Among the many challenges hospitals have faced are patient surges and staffing shortages due to community outbreaks and childcare and school closures. To help address these issues, the hospital associations assist in locating needed resources such as personal protective equipment, testing supplies, and urgent staffing, as well as clarifying the process for key supply and personnel requests such as:

• FEMA reimbursement

• Remdesivir allocations

• Requesting resources through local Medical Health Operational Area Coordinators and helping troubleshoot issues that arise during that process
